About Jazmine

Hi, I’m Jazmine. I am a licensed graduate professional counselor (LGPC) in Maryland. Additionally, I am a nationally certified counselor (NCC), trained brainspotting professional, and special educator.

My practice mainly focuses on and with Trauma, Grief/Loss, LGTBQIA2S+ (individual and couples), Relationship Issues/Growth, Anxiety, Depression, neurodivergence, and Parents of Children with Disabilities.

My core values are authenticity and accessibility. I will always show up as my truest, most genuine self, and I encourage my clients to do the same. Everyone deserves access to quality wellness providers; therefore, I attempt to make my services affordable while providing multiple ways for folks to connect with their spirit.

I am credentialed in the states of Maryland and Vermont, where I offer telehealth services. If your home address is not located in either of those states and you would like to work together, you must be seen in person at my office in Laurel, MD, or you can contact me and inquire about coaching services.

my approach and beliefs

therapy is not one-size-fits-all

I use an integrative counseling style and draw on various techniques in sessions, including Brainspotting, NTU Afrocentric psychotherapy, spirituality, and your more well-known ‘evidence-based’ practices such as CBT and DBT. I provide clients with the tools, resources, and space to increase self-awareness and tap into the values guiding them from within.

Everyone has the answers within themselves.

I am simply a guiding light to help you find them. Although we did not ask to be here, we are responsible for taking control of our lives, being attuned to our emotions, and fostering inner resilience to reach a place of genuine joy and contentment. Sometimes we need help doing those things, and that is okay!
